Acquiring A Divine Perspective

Let us view from a different vantage point. Let us hear from His voice. Let us gather a perspective so solidifying it becomes the foundation for our fellowship. May we spend time in the secret place of the Most High. May we view things as He does and call forth those things that reflect His will. May we never stop repeating, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” May we climb the Mountain of God and stay there until we hear, “You have dwelled long enough in this mountain.” Then let us burst onto this holocaust of hell (called modern society) while marching around their walled Jerichos and watch their walls fall.

Four Hyper-Grace Fallacies

The bottom line is that Jesus said that the truth sets us free (John 8:32), and if the message of hypergrace is not true, as I and many others contend, then it is by rejecting that error and embracing the full testimony of God’s Word—thereby embracing God’s true grace—that freedom and liberty will come.

Condemn Not! You May Be the One That’s Wrong!

All of us should examine ourselves to be sure that we are “in the faith” (2 Cor. 13:5) and all of us should be diligent to “confirm [our] calling and election” (2 Pet. 1:10), and this does mean falling into performance-based religious exercises but rather living out our calling to be God’s children (see 2 Pet. 1:3-11; this is our response to what God has graciously done for us). In an explosive scandal that continues to grow, the Obama IRS was caught – smoking gun in hand – intentionally targeting conservative and Christian organizations and individuals for harassment, intimidation and, ultimately, for political destruction.

Are You An Apollos Or A Paul?

Modern Christianity has convinced itself that Jesus provided two distinct Gospels and two distinct faiths–one for the First Century Church and one for the Church that followed after. Cessationists say the first Church was miraculously empowered while the second was not; the first had the baptismal gift of the Holy Spirit, while the second was merely given a book telling what the Holy Spirit had achieved in the past.

Why The Baptism In The Holy Spirit

How desperately we need the help of the Holy Spirit to minister to others! Without His help, we can never hope to make disciples of all nations. That is, in fact, the very reason Jesus promised to baptize believers in the Holy Spirit—so the world would hear the gospel.
