The centerpiece of this post is a prophetic message I delivered in December, 1989. The date of the delivery of the message is significant because the message predicted major governmental debacle and dismantling that would be occurring in many nations of the world, beginning with the U.S.S.R., and it was in November, 1989, that East Germany issued a decree for the Berlin Wall dividing free Berlin from Communist Berlin that had stood for 28 years to be opened to allow free ingress and egress between the East and West factions of the city. By the end of 1990 the wall was completely disassembled contemporaneously with the collapse of Communism in Eastern Europe and in U.S.S.R., marking the end of the Cold War era. The historic opening of the Berlin Wall came only a little more than two years after President Ronald Reagan, who I believe was a political prophet anointed and appointed by God, “In a speech at the Brandenburg Gate commemorating the 750th anniversary of Berlin, by the Berlin Wall on June 12, 1987,”1 trumpeted the now infamous divinely-inspired prophetic decree, “Mr. Gorbachev, Tear down this wall!”
So it was 22 years and one month ago, as I write in January, 2011, that I delivered this very prophetic message to a crowd of a little more than 300 people in Orlando, Florida. I was only 41 years old then; I’m now 62. At that time, I had been in the ministry only twelve years; I’m now beginning my 35th year in ministry. When I listen to the recording of the message, the many ways in which I’ve personally matured and developed in my ministry over the twenty-two year interim are painfully and chagrinfully obvious to me. Nevertheless, I am amazed and humbled regarding the veracity and verity of the message’s substance.
The prophetic nature of the message is irrefutable, and it contains prophetic predictions that only God could have known. While I had prepared an outline for the message that I had worked on for weeks prior to the night I delivered it in one of the many “prophetic seminars” I hosted during the 80s and 90s, when I actually delivered the message, per usual, the Spirit spoke many things through me that were not in the outline and that I did not intend to say.
I have a vivid memory of that meeting and how that there was such a powerful anointing before, during, and after the message. I ministered prophetic words to nearly half of those in attendance (finishing up around 3:30 A.M. the next morning), and the Spirit moved upon me with 20-30 very specific words of knowledge regarding conditions of attendees needing healing and deliverance. The Lord clearly was confirming that this message was HIS message by placing His seal of supernatural power on it. At one point in the meeting not long after I concluded the message and began ministering in the Spirit, I and many other people saw a faint cloud of God’s Shekina Glory hovering around the front of the auditorium, and I remember a moment in which the Lord lifted the anointing that was on me just enough and long enough for me to realize that nearly everyone in the room was slain in the Spirit, laying on the floor, and praising God; only maybe 20 to 30 people remained standing or were sitting in their chair! It was a glorious meeting in which “the Lord came down” (Ex. 19:20; Num. 11:25) to fellowship with His people!
The focus of this message is a prophetic prediction regarding a “restructuring” that the Lord would be initiating in the Church He is building that was being signified by contemporaneous world events. In the months preceding the message, Mikhail Gorbechov2, the President of the Soviet Union and General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, was drawing global attention to massive paradigmatic changes in the U.S.S.R., advocating “perestroika”3, which means “restructure,” and spearheading a movement to basically disassemble the U.S.S.R. I indicated in the message my “belief,” which I received from the Lord, that Gorbechov was a modern day “Cyrus,” who was an ungodly Persian king God put into power and used to fulfill Divine purposes and plans. In this case, the Divine purposes and plans was the debacle of the U.S.S.R.
But, beyond all that, I also spoke about the coming “fall” of many other governments among the nations that would be occurring in the years ahead. Among the prophetic predictions the Spirit spoke about through me were the failure and fall of Communism, Socialism, Fascism, and how they have already been proven time and time again over the course of recent history to be utterly false and faulty doctrines inspired and proliferated by demons. I prophesied that in the coming years God would be shaking everything that can be shaken, including all the kingdoms of men throughout the world, and that everything that is not of God’s Kingdom will be shaken, so that, “The only thing that is going to remain standing, in the end, is the word of the Lord” and the Kingdom of God. At one point, I went totally “off script” and shocked even myself by saying that one day not far into the future we here in the U.S. as well as those living in other free nations around the world, would see a failing and falling even of “democracy” for a time. I believe that we have been seeing over the last two decades that prophetic prediction gradually being fulfilled and culminating with the recent attempts by the present administration and radical left elements of the political realm and government of our Republic to undermine and if possible totally dismantle the democratic aspects on which our form of government is predicated.
Some of the other matters the message focused on that were prophetic in nature were:
- Amos’ prediction regarding the coming drought of the hearing of the word of the Lord.
- God does nothing without first revealing His secret counsel to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).
- God is restoring the ministries of the apostles and prophets back into their rightful place of function in the church that Jesus is building.
- God was initiating a “perestroika” (restructuring) in the Church Jesus is building!
- A prophetic word I received from the Lord in 1985 in which He said He was going to “suddenly” visit His Church in a different form — in the form of “special messengers,” in fulfillment of the Malachi 3 prediction.
- The end-time apostasy prophesied by the Apostle Paul had already begun (at the time of the message in 1989).
I believe there’s much that can be extracted and learned from this Spirit-inspired message concerning the purposes and plans of God these last days, especially by those who have the spiritually attuned ears to be able to “hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches.”

Unfortunately, the recording is a rather low-quality recording, due to technical error in the recording process, and the fact that it was originally recorded on cassette tape because digital recording on CDs had not come into being yet.
